SPECENERGO has manufactured and delivered two mobile modular substations (MMS) ordered by PJSC Rosseti Moscow Region. The MMS are designed for the temporary replacement of switchgear equipment at existing 110/10 kV substations during repair periods, ensuring power supply to consumers via a temporary scheme.
110/10 kV MMS with a capacity of 40 MVA
The substation consists of three modules, transportable by road. Their overall dimensions allow them to be carried on high-flotation semi-trailers via public roads.
High Voltage (HV) module with 110 kV switchgear, including a 110 kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), surge arresters, and voltage transformers.
High Voltage (HV) module with a 110/10 kV, 40 MVA oil-filled power transformer and surge arresters.
Low Voltage (LV) 10 kV module includes:
- An auxiliary control building with relay protection, an AMR (Automated Metering and Information System) system, remote control, and security and fire alarm systems.
- 10 kV Metal-Clad Switchgear (MCS).
The LV equipment is mounted in a thermally insulated container to ensure normal operation of the installed equipment.
110/10 kV MMS with a capacity of 20 MVA:
- HV module with 110 kV GIS, a 110/10 kV, 20 MVA power transformer, and surge arresters.
- LV 10 kV module with an auxiliary control building, 10 kV MCS, control cabinets, and an AMR system.
Both MMPS are equipped with ventilation, heating, air conditioning, and automatic temperature control systems, as well as interlocks to protect operating personnel.
MMPS ensure uninterrupted power supply during repairs or emergencies at substations, reducing the time required for power grid restoration. Their mobility and self-sufficiency make them an effective solution for rapid response in the energy sector.
