SPECENERGO has manufactured and supplied a 35/10 kV modular transformer substation (MTS) for power supply of the Untygeyskoye field in the Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

MТS is constructed of two modules – high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) modules. The HV module includes a 35/10 kV 6.3 MVA power transformer and a 35 kV open switchgear (SWYD). LV module includes a 10 kV cubicle switchgear (CSG) and the substation-wide control room (SCR). The LV module is made of a heat-insulated container with lighting, heating and ventilation systems ensuring normal operation of the equipment installed inside.

MTS modules are mounted on a frame, which makes it possible to deliver the substation to the installation site by road vehicles using public roads. The advantage of the MTS is its small size and complete factory readiness. The area of two modules is 54 square meters, which reduces the size of the required land plot and minimizes the scope of construction and installation works during construction of the substation site, while the high factory readiness reduces the period of MTS commissioning.
