In October 2019, SPECENERGO commissioned its 110/10(6) kV Mobile Modular Substation (MMS) for Yekaterinburg Electric Grid Company JSC (EESK), a Rosseti IDGC of Urals group company.
The 25 MVA MMS supplies electric power to consumers throughout the reconstruction of the Gornyj Shchit 110 kV substation in Chkalovskiy District of Yekaterinburg to allow gradual construction without power outages. The MMS will also improve the electric power supply reliability in autumn and winter.
The Gornyj Shchit 110 kV substation supplies electric power to circa 6 thousand of residents of the Gornyj Shchit and Polevodstvo townships as well as to gardener partnerships and circa 20 socially significant facilities such as heating plants, pumping stations, schools and kindergartens.
